Why run for Toowoomba Regional Council?
- I have always believed in getting involved, especially if you believe something can be improved.
- Toowoomba and surrounding areas are a great place to raise a family and get an education. It is important that future generations enjoy the same benefits. That requires planning that balances our present needs (of a strong economy and employment) with sustainable long term development that ensures the traditional community values, built environment and lifestyle are maintained and improved for future generations.
- I believe in democracy. Local government is democracy in action because your decisions are very up close and personal, so you better consult with your fellow citizens and get it right.
